What’s Going On

I have been very busy with an exciting variety of projects. I finished Clay Aikens album “On My Way Here” in April and we enjoyed huge success with the album peaking at No 4 in the US Billboard charts. I also wrote the song “You’re Everything I Don’t Need” with Judie Tzuke and James Morrison which is a stand out track on the album, check it out on iTunes. I have also been continuing to work on the soundtrack for the film Anima
due for release 2009. I co wrote a brand new song for the film with Fabrizio Ferri and Sting called “Where Do They Go”. Sting sings the song in the film and Chris Botti came and played on an instrumental version of the song with the London Orchestra at Abbey Road. I am currently in the middle of producing a solo album for Mike Lindup of Level 42 fame which is sounding fantastic and is serious old school in a Stevie Wonder way, due to be finished by the end of the year, a very exciting project. A new young artist that I produced called Matthew Macaulay has his debut album released in September called “As For Me” release info to follow. I also begin work with Esther Alexander on completing her album. She took a break to have her baby and is now ready to record having written another batch of songs with myself and Dave Clifton, this will be finished by Christmas. My current favourite listen is Into The Light” by John Mayer, I believe a giant of his generation, a new Sting if ever there could be one. My best to you Kipper x
